Who is behind the Collective?
My name is Madi, and
One year ago, my husband JR and I were scraping the barrel and were struggling to make ends meet.
Now, I am running a six-figure UGC business, doing something I love, a.k.a creating content for brands.
This has provided me with a sense of accomplishment and motivation to continue creating content & teach other UGC creators like you how to do the same.

But before telling you about how did I get where I'm now, I have a question for you,

I was once in your shoes.
In January of 2022, my husband and I were broke. While he bounced between working at different construction companies to make ends meet, I was trying to finish school and build a business that would hopefully take off.
Our long term goal was never just to have a bunch of money so we could buy fancy cars or live some lavish lifestyle. We simply wanted to be financially secure enough to buy land, build a home, and raise a family together one day.
But it seemed like that goal was so far away. Finances got so tight that I either had to get a job and give up on pursuing entrepreneurship, or I just needed to make it work.
That’s when I discovered UGC. I was scrolling through TikTok one day when I saw someone talking about how she was filling a unique need in the digital marketing space for brands: creating strategic video content for brands to use for ads or to post on their own pages.
Content that looks like it came from an influencer, but was strategic enough to sell things.
During my first month of starting UGC, I was still trying to figure everything out. But as I began sharing my portfolio work and interacting with other people in the creative space, I ended up securing my first client. I vividly remember receiving that DM…
“I loved that video you created for those products, do you have the capacity to make some for mine?”
It was a $500 deal that gave me all the confidence I needed to keep going.
You’re telling me that I started UGC only 2 weeks ago and I already secured my first client?
Is this a fluke? Is it realistic to assume that I can make this happen enough times that I can earn a substantial amount of money? It was almost too good to be true.
I ended up tweeting about my achievement, which to my surprise, was the start of something I could only have dreamed of. I woke up the next morning with 12-15 message requests.
“I own a DTC beverage brand and need a creator for the TikTok page, can we chat?”
“Do you have enough room in your schedule to make me 4 UGC ads?”
“How much do you charge for a video? I can get the product to you by next week.”
I couldn’t believe it. I literally went from 0 to having a roster full of people who wanted to pay me to create content for their brand. I couldn’t sleep.
I certainly didn’t think I was capable of securing 7 clients that month, which was literally double my husband’s monthly income, but I did.
Fast forward to now: I’m a college drop out running a 4-5 figure/month content creation business, my husband and I are financially free while working at home together on our own schedule, and we’re expecting our first baby.
